| Jane Lee, Media Relations Manager of South West Trains & Brian (Sam) Easterbrook South West Trains Woodfalls Band commenced a year of celebration of their 10 year partnership with a day at Salisbury Races on Sunday 2 May 2004. South West Trains and Woodfalls Band got together back in 1994 and since then the partnership has epitomised the community role made possible since the privatisation of the railways. Since the band's sponsorship Woodfalls Band has been able to raise funds for: Salisbury Cathedral, RAF Benevolent Society, Wessex Cancer Trust, Wessex Heart Beat, Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust, Odstock Hospital Radio, Salisbury Mayor's Appeal for Breast Cancer, Bristol Oncology Centre, Marie Curie Cancer Care, The Royal British Legion, Age Concern and the Fiona Appleyard Appeal etc. |
